Strengthening Families, Protecting Children

We believe God designed the family to be a place where children are loved, nurtured, and cared for. Whenever possible, children should grow up within the security of a loving family rather than in an institution.

In communities facing extreme poverty, families are sometimes separated not because of a lack of love, but because parents and caregivers lack the resources to meet their children's basic needs. We believe one of the best ways to care for vulnerable children is to strengthen the families caring for them.

By working alongside local churches and leaders to provide education, clean water, safe housing, and other practical support, Bread to the Nations seeks to help keep families together and prevent children from becoming separated from those who love them.

We believe orphan care isn't only about caring for children who have lost their families. It's also about helping prevent family separation in the first place.

Parents in Haiti gather to express their appreciation for the educational support their children receive through Bread to the Nations.

Strengthening families begins with building relationships. Through our local ministry leaders, Bread to the Nations comes alongside parents and caregivers, listen to their needs, offer encouragement, and help provide opportunities for their children. These relationships are at the heart of our ministry - lasting change happens when families and communities are strengthened together.
