Karl Henry: Social Worker in Haiti

Karl Henry is a trained and practicing social worker in Haiti. He primarily works with children and orphanages and has been a valuable resource for Bread to the Nations since 2018. In 2020, BttN partnered with Karl Henry to help reunite children from a children's home with their birth families. He continues to play an active role in assuring the children are well cared for and are getting their needs met within their birth families.

Karl Henry and his wife live in Carrefour and are members of a church in the area where Karl Henry serves on the worship team.

Judener: BttN Leader - Dominican Republic

Judener's primary role with Bread to the Nations is overseeing the Bread to the Widows Initiative. As a medical student in his final year of medical school, his knowledge, compassion, and gifts are invaluable in caring for the widows we support.

Each month, Judener visits every widow in the program. Beyond helping monitor their physical well-being, these visits are an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and remind each widow that she is seen, valued, and not forgotten. Through his consistent presence and care, he reflects the heart of Christ to some of the most vulnerable members of the community.
