Ronald Charles: In Country Director

Ronald came on board with Bread to the Nations August of 2018 and was promoted to the position of in-country director in April of 2019. Ronald lives with his wife, Mardochee and their two children in the Dominican Republic.

Ronald grew up in Carrefour. He attended public school in Haiti because his family did not have the financial means to send him to a private school. Unfortunately, there are very few (free) public schools in Haiti. But determined to get an education, Ronald spent much of his school-age years walking to school several hours one way. Ronald is self-taught in English and began interpreting for teams in 2012 and served with Praying Pelicans Missions for five years as a team leader and interpreter.

Ronald has a desire to pour into the next generation in Haiti to help make a positive impact in their lives.

Elizabeth: Assistant Director and Education Supervisor

Elizabeth came on board with Bread to the Nations in 2020 to oversee the Education Initiative and an assistant to In-country Director, Ronald Charles. She resides in Carrefour with her husband and three children.

Prior to coming on board with Bread to the Nations, Elizabeth served as an interpreter with Praying Pelicans Missions.
